Welcome to the Wanganui Branch of IPENZ

Welcome to the Wanganui Branch of the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ).

Wanganui Branch has approximately 50  Members, mainly from Wanganui and but also from surrounding areas. It holds approximately eight meetings each year for Members. These meetings are used to organise evening presentations which include the Pickering Lecture, graduates’ presentations, the President’s visit and site visits. These events provide opportunities for Members to meet socially and to expand their business networks.

In November/December the Branch holds the Annual General Meeting and elects a Committee to run the Branch for the next 12 months.

The Wanganui Branch is currently raising awareness of the engineering profession in our wider community through news articles which profile local engineers, their roles and responsibilities, and current construction projects around the district.
